The All Kerala Industry Applications Society Student Conclave (AKIASSC) is a premier annual event hosted by the IA/IE/PELS Joint Chapter Kerala, specifically designed to cultivate the professional development of aspiring engineers. AKIASSC fosters this growth through a multitude of opportunities. The IEEE IA/IE/PELS Joint Chapter in the Kerala Section has emerged as a leading Society chapter, comprising the Industry Applications Society (IAS), Industrial Electronics Society (IES), and Power Electronics Society (PELS). Recognized with the prestigious IAS CMD Outstanding Joint IAS Chapter Award in 2022, the chapter has significantly contributed since its establishment in April 1989, gaining momentum particularly from 2018 onwards. The inaugural AKIASSC held in February 2019 at NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, further elevated its global presence. With a total of 38 IAS chapters, 12 IES chapters, and 9 PELS chapters, the IA/IE/PELS Joint Chapter Kerala stands as the largest joint chapter globally, both in terms of student branch chapters and membership. Under the leadership of Dr. Vasanthi V. as Chairperson, Dr. Kumaravel S. as Vice-Chair, and Dr. Deepak M. as Secretary, supported by a vibrant 16-member Professional team and 16-member Student Team, the chapter continues to thrive.As it continues to grow and evolve, the IEEE IA/IE/PELS Joint Chapter in Kerala is poised to make even greater contributions to the advancement of technology and knowledge in its domains.

IEEE IAS SBC The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) student branch at MES College of Engineering (MESCE) is a dynamic group focused on fostering student interest in the industrial applications. The society Started in 2021 has proven to be one of the most active at MESCE. With a membership count of 60, excluding first year students, the IEEE IAS SBC MESCE has successfully conducted various programs throughout the year within the college. In 2023 society collaborate with other IEEE societies and organize workshops, webinars, and competitions. Some examples include "WIRED LITTERATEUR" article writing competition, "CODECRYPT" codeathon, and "DAYLIGHT 2.0" solar workshop.

MES College of Engineering, the first Engineering College established under the self-financing sector in Kerala is situated on the beautiful and serene banks of Nila or Bharathapuzha, Kuttippuram. It was established as an institution with minority status in 1994. Widely acknowledged as one of the premier institutions imparting technical education in the state, the college offers admission to all categories of students with special consideration to educationally backward communities. College is certified by NAAC, ISO and NBA. At present there are eight undergraduate programmes including B Arch and seven post graduate courses (M Tech, MCA, MBA and M Arch) and PhD programmes, in the college.
